Ich weiß nicht, ob es noch aktuell ist, aber ich nutze Shotcut. Ist kostenlos, es gibt gute Tutorials, läuft halbwegs stabil und für meine Zwecke ausreichend. Großer Vorteil gegenüber z.B. iMovie: Man muss das Original nicht langwierig irgendwo in eine Bibliothek importieren.
