'Hohe' Motordrehzahl Multi

Hallo zusammen,

 

von meiner alten Vergasermonster M900 bin ich es gewohnt, eine Motordrehtzahl unter 1.000 U/Min zu haben. Die MTS1100 und auch die 12er dagegen hatte/hat eine Drehzahl bei so rund 1.200 U/Min wenn sie warm gefahren waren/sind. Auch andere Motorräder haben eine so 'hohe' Leerlaufdrehzahl.

 

Welchen technischen Grund gibt es denn für so eine 'hohe' Leerlaufdrehzahl und weshalb hat die alte Monster das nicht?

Vermutlich hatten die älteren Modelle mehr Schwungmasse und brauchten deshalb weniger Leerlaufdrehzahl um "am Leben" zu bleiben.

Ggfs. war das auch noch der neueren Abgasnorm mit entsprechend magererem Gemisch geschuldet?!

Wobei ich unter 1000 U/Min schon echt wenig finde.
