before i start off.... its a total pain to core. not a easy fun project like my other mufflers were. if i where to do it again, i would have done it differently.
anyway, here we go:
first you have to buy all the stuff... stainless steel perforated tubing, stainless welding supplies, stainless tubing, stainless sheet, extra muffler, packing, etc...
then you have to cut it open... easier said then done because its tough-ish stainless, and you need to cut it so you can reopen it.
dont do it like me.. leave the 'strap' part with the top, and just cut it... that way you dont have to cut the holes in the top of the muffler:
then you have what appears to be wookie hair everywhere.. with stainless mesh under it. total pain to remove. wear gloves.
once thats off, you still have a shitton of sheet stainless to cut
and now you see the pipes and mess. its a total PAIN IN THE ASS to cut this crap out.
as you can probably tell, i ended up getting it out. it wasnt easy. total PITA.. had to ask a friend with a torch to help... how can a torch cut stainless? simple.. ducati uses cheap 'stainless'... yes, this will be cleaned up before its done. lol.
atleast now its on its way to being cored.... obviously not done yet, but as you can tell from the filenames, i just started it last weekend....
