Ok, and now in english.. :-)

I found on ducati.ms that there is a possible substitute for the ducati sprag over at KTM.

About the KTM sprag, has anyone used the KTM part? Pics? Which one of the Ducati parts it is? 70140011A or 70140071A? The 11A is for 1999 and older, the 71A is for 2000 and up. I have 1999 996 SPS that's acting up..

I used to have a sprag problem with my 916 SPS in 2008. I just got myself a used unit which worked well. They usually don´t go bad that often but then... there´s you and me who had them gone bad so I guess it´s not that uncommon.

It wouldn´t surprise me if they were interchangeable though as you can find lots of japanese or other parts on various motorcycles. My Husqvarna has a Ducati alternator system, Cagiva parts here and there. Ducatis have Denso alternators... so, why not?

No big help, I know, but maybe try the used market for a second hand starter sprag. There are many people selling disassembled engines and these parts don´t seem very popular on the market.
